EYDAP reinforces water supply in Attica, Athens Greece due to drought---Water meter and flow meter.

The Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company (EYDAP) is activating additional water sources to support Attica's water supply due to prolonged drought, according to CEO Haris Sachinis. Although no water restrictions are needed yet, Sachinis urged voluntary conservation. If winter brings no rain or snow, the situation could worsen. Over the past two years, decreased rainfall has reduced water reserves. The Ministry of Environment and Energy is exploring long-term solutions, including new reservoirs and desalination. Sachinis stressed the importance of avoiding water waste and confirmed no plans to increase water bills.
